[00:01] REENA JADHAV: Chapter 10 back to the garden tending to the virtues of the vagina, ooh fun topic. So we’re going to talk about it.

[00:11] NADINE ARTEMIS: Yeah. It’s such an important area obviously for women and again we’ve been putting things in and around that area that is so detrimental and the microbiome again a huge player. The microbiome an imbalance in there can literally lead that could be the infertility issue that somebody might have. Gum health if the oral microbiomes are not happening that affects the vaginal microbiome and that could lead to a pre-term baby like an earlier than nine months of delivery. So it’s really its just studying that and seeing the connection the whole body connection and then again the history of going to things like douches and gels. It’s just crazy like when they started out in the thirties with a Lister Reno Lysol. You can just quickly Google vintage Lysol ads they are just horrific and then they moved it was Lysol and they say oh know now what Listerine will be gentler because Lysol is always a bit strong. And then it just doesn’t stop even to this day there are so many issues and again we’ve got to stop stealing seed that can be applied to that area as well.

[01:33] REENA JADHAV: Tel us some of your favorite tips on the seats.

[01:35] NADINE ARTEMIS: yeah so we want to stop. You want to stop using K. Y. jelly because that actually causes. When they look at the cells under a microscope, they look like shriveled raisins and also know when we are using that kind of glycerin product on our skin it’s called osmolality and what the cell does, it lose it flushes out its water content to be balanced with what’s been applied on the external side of the skin. And then the cells shriveled up so we got this temporary clumping moisture lubrication moment but in the long term you got drought and dysbiosis and that also created a faster exposure to sexually transmitted diseases because all the cells were swerving off in the vagina. So that’s not fun you want to use just natural botanical oils so things like coconut oil and jojoba and not really get that inter-lubrication going again too. So we’re not just applying to even soap on your skin or shower gel or your douches are going to throw off the natural balance, the natural oils and you’re going to be creating dryness and in balance, so we don’t do that. And polyester underwear, non-organic tampons really even if you have organic tampons just on special occasions we want to stop putting stuff up there that’s disrupting the microbiome.

[02:57] REENA JADHAV: So true.
